The Shifted Love

In the garden, brothers struggling
One is the father of all
In the shade of the tree, three souls were transposed
In one was the spirit of life
Reflective colours enhance the other two
Now lost
Illusion

I am Leo, I’m still prowling
Creating the lie, devouring all with pride
In the moonlight, there’s a shadow
Softly steals my sleep

I’ll take my piece when the night ascends
Sweet hope lies in the blood of men
Forever lost in a dream with no control

I am chameleon
Ever changing, never aging
The song, my endless dream
Winter feelings keep me prisoned
My soul, it has no name
My love is cold, but pure as snow
Envisaging the hues we know
And privileged in the world where we live

I am Adam
Ever fallen, shifted from gardens green
I am sorry to all you children whose dream I could not keep
A son of war, my first laid seed
A son of peace, now asleep
But wake he will
When the new day begins
